Tyco Electronics' Elo TouchSystemsELO 2400LMHarrisburg, PA. - March, 2011 – Tyco Electronics recently announced the new Elo TouchSystems 24-inch 2400LM Touchmonitor with UL60601 and IEC60601 certifications and an IPX-1 drip-proof rating, offering medical and non-medical environments a highly efficient and performance-driven touch solution. Available with either IntelliTouch surface acoustic wave and AccuTouch five-wire resistive touch product technologies, the Elo 2400LM touchmonitor is optimized for a wide variety of medical and non-medical applications where exceptional touchscreen visibility and electromedical safety requirements are necessary.

Often used for applications like point-of-care, mobile medical carts and point-of-service, the 2400LM Touchmonitor features a high quality display panel with wide-viewing angles and a high contrast ratio for exceptional screen clarity and contrast. The 2400LM is RoHS compliant with an IPX-1 enclosure design to protect the touchmonitor against falling liquids and is available in white, both preferred requirements in healthcare environments. Additional features include a USB/Serial combination touch controller, DVI, VGA and built-in speakers.
